Roseboom - Virginia

Lafayette, Dec 8 – The death of Mrs.
Virginia P. Roseboom occurred in a local hospital late Saturday afternoon and
was caused by cerebral hemorrhage. She was born at Alamo in Montgomery County
Feb 8, 1850 and was married on Sept 19, 1887 to Charles A. Roseboom. The
deceased was a member of the Christian Church and was a highly esteemed woman.
Mrs. Roseboom is survived by the husband and two daughters, Mrs. PW Welch of
Los Angeles and Miss Norma Roseboom of Chicago. The body was prepared for
burial at the Folckemer & Sons parlors and will be sent to Thorntown for
burial at 8:46 o’clock Tuesday morning.
Funeral services will be held from the Christian Church at Thorntown at
2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon and burial will be made in the Thorntown cemetery. - kbz
